Moving Forward

I am often asked where I am going. I do not answer.

Not because I am lost, But because direction does not require narration.

I move without a fixed map, without bargaining with outcomes, without dragging the past as ballast.

Each step, taken sincerely, is sufficient.

Over time, patterns clarify:

Flowers bloom when conditions align, not when demanded. Birds leave when the wind carries them.

Grasping delays nothing. Caging the sky changes nothing.

Impermanence causes pain. Impermanence also removes fear.

The sun rises without promising duration. The moon reaches fullness already in decline. Names, success, relationships, and stories appear briefly, then loosen.

Understanding this alters behaviour.

I do not chase permanence. I meet things fully while they exist.

There is a common assumption that a life without stated goals is static. This is incorrect.

Progress occurs through execution, not projection.

I move forward by: doing small things well placing effort where my hands are releasing results once action is complete

If there is alignment, I remain. If alignment ends, I leave. No resentment is required.

The past has finished its account. The future has not yet formed its claim.

Only the present issues instruction.

In this moment, I act with sincerity, whether writing, walking, or offering assistance, without tallying return.

What guides me is uncomplicated:

One correct step, then the next. The path reveals only what is necessary to continue.

The remainder is not mine to manage. The wind will decide.
