Madonna has had a big autumn. Her album Confessions II won Best Album at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on 27 September, one of seven awards she took home that night, including Artist of the Year. So here is the night she launched its predecessor, Confessions on a Dance Floor, in London in November 2005. After a five-song set at Koko in Camden on 15 November she held her after-party at Kabaret's Prophecy in Soho, and these are the pictures from outside.
